We are excited to offer a completely redesigned program designed to provide immersion training in clinical yoga therapies that can immediately enhance your work with patients. This program provide full training in gentle therapeutic yoga suitable for all patients, regardless of physical and medical condition.
Participants will take part in the large-scale clinical operation at SVYASA Yoga University which treats 400 patients during each ten-day cycle. The clinic is remarkable for the range of treatments offered and integration with the modern medical
system. SVYASA Yoga University has been at the forefront of yoga research, providing a scientific basis for the yoga protocols used with patients.
Participants in this program will learn specific yoga protocols through daily practice, classes and clinical observation. The yoga practices include dynamic movements, breathing techniques, and cleansing systems. These are combined into specialized protocols designed for specific health conditions.
The clinical yoga intensive operates at SVYASA Yoga University which is located on its own self-contained rural campus outside of Bangalore in South India. The program is supplemented by visits to collaborating institutions in Bangalore as well as trips to a successful rural ecological cooperative, village market, and cultural attractions.
This program is designed for healthcare professionals who offer dynamic movement therapies to patients, including Physical Therapists, Athletic Therapists, Massage Therapists and other healthcare professionals working in a therapeutic or rehab setting.
